DC MGMA meetings are held quarterly in 2008. Each meeting will focus around one or two topics with presentations from local resources.

DC MGMA alternates the meeting times to best accommodate our members.

DC MGMA will have a new look to the website. Resources, meeting information and discussions will be added in 2008, offering our members information they can use.

DC-MGMA welcomes Barbara Allen of the DC Medical Society and Claudia Tellez of the Northern Virginia Medical Society. Our guests will discuss the benefits of membership and special programs offered to medical society members.

Steve Fargis of Professional Risk Management will introduce Wyatt S. Beazley of Williams Mullen. Mr. Beazley will present “Legal Issues in Medical Office Management.” Mr. Beazley’s primary focus is “negotiating and structuring various transactions involving a wide array of health care providers and advising health care providers on the applicability of various federal and state health care laws and regulations.” His presentation will follow with Q&A.
